Just thought it might help someone to know that these pipes need the pilot screw 3&3/4 turns out from their seats to avoid running lean. They flow more gas than the originals. Also, don't take your carbs off to adjust these screws unless you need to drill the anti-tamper plugs (US models) since they can be reached with a geared/flexible right-angled screwdriver available from Motion-Pro and others or, as I did, borrow one from a Kawasaki dealer (it's part of their factory-supplied tool kit - and more than likely is for other manufacturers too...) for ten minutes - which is all it should take. I've saeen somewhere someone suggesting removing carbs to adjust the screws...

I'll get my bike dyno'ed at some point and let you know optimum jetting FYI, though I'm not looking for top-end so it'll be tuning for throttle response and mid-range - hurrah!

OK - just to aded that I've just had the cams out to do valve clearances and found some prat had put the inlet cam in a tooth out (retarded) so... the mixture screws will now have to come out a little further since she's now flowing more air... and making bags more torque! And yes, these pipes do sound lovely, if not quite as phat as the ones with the big holes in that they replaced, and what they've done to the looks of my otherwise standard (mini irridium indicators aside) Trident is quite stunning - very imposing!
