hi all - i've posted in the daytona forum with not much luck and i'm hoping someone can shed some light on a very odd problem.
the problem is the iacv - it very predictably, when hot, will remain on after i shut the bike off with the killswitch THEN the ignition key. if i do NOT use the kill switch and turn it off with the key, the iacv shuts right down. when i have tested it [several times now] i can get the iacv to turn off if i turn the ignition back on, put the kill switch in the on position then turn the ignition off again. so it's only shutting down w/ the KS in the on position.
i had a different tune installed in the bike today [via tuneboy dealer] thinking that perhaps the tune is suspect, but the problem persists [the bike does run WAY better]. the ecu shows no codes and everything tests ok.
also according to the wiring diagram the iacv is wired to the ecu. i an't imagine what's up unless the ecu is kaput? as always, thanks for the help.
