Now triumph have extended the range available to include Tiger S3, daytona etc who has bought a triumph gel seat (for any model) and did it improve things?

I had a Gel insert put in the seat of my 99 adventurer by Saddlemen in CA. Worked great. Can ride all day now without sore tailbone.

I don't know about the specific seat you refer to, but I considered a gel insert for my T'bird seat. My enquiries around the web revealed that most people who had them rated them highly in terms of added comfort/extra hours in the saddle, with one exception. They retain heat & in very hot weather can become uncomfortable. Not really an issue if you don't live in a hot climate.

Good point on retaining heat. I need to cover my seat when in direct sunlight (rag, shirt, etc.) or can be uncomfortable for awhile. But the stock seat was like riding a log and no one make aftermarket seat for the adventurer.
