I am restoring a '71 T120 that I got from a buddy. He did not do such a great job the 1st time he rebuilt the engine. For instance, he used "propholactic" o-rings.

I also discovered the the Timing Marks were not properly aligned on the camshaft pinions when he put it back together. This leds to the question, "Did he install the pinions using the correct slot used on the gear?"

Is there an easy, or any way for that matter, to determine which slot is the correct one on each pinion?

On a side note, I'm not sure he installed the push rods correctly, either!

Thanks for the suggestions!
