I have a problem. I have a 1977 Triumph Bonneville that requires a key for the front fork lock and to allow power from the battery. I have lost this key and I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how to get a hold of a key or will I need to re-wire the bike?????

Those locks are pretty cheap, you should be able to replace the lock easily-if not with a Triumph part then with something similar.

You could probably get a locking switch from an electronics parts supplier.

Try Norther Eagle Cycle. They specialize in vintage Triumph parts. I've bought from them in the past and they are great to deal with. Prices are very reasonable as well.
Try www.northerneagle.ca

I'm not sure if thie is correct but if you just type Northern Eagle Cycle in your search engine, it should find it.

if you don't find what your looking for on their website, give them a call and they'll try to hook you up.

I have a 2003 Suzuki with no key for the fork lock. I have the key tag that Suzuki provided and I have a broken key. A Suzuki dealer can make an ignition key from the key tag but not a fork lock key. The broken key has some german company name on it and I can't find anyone who carries a blank for this make of lock.

I just wanted you to know that finding keys for fork locks is a universal problem.
