Hey folks. For anyone whom has had an incident with a bike with fairing, PLASTEX stuff really does work pretty well. I banged up my ST in late July and needed to repair a 10" break in the main fairing along with a couple of other cracks and broken tabs.

I bought a "medium" plastex kit in white ($25 or so) and I'm impressed. I made the first repair according to thier instructions and while functional, it looks terrible - my skill not thier product. I improvised the second ( main ) repair and it looks great. There is a post in the ST forum about it. Hopefully no one else will need this stuff, but if you do, www.plastex.com is where to get it.

The white is general and best adhesion, black has carbon fibre and is strongest and clear is for, yes, clear repairs.
