I've checked out D & D as well as Bub, but the look doesn't suit me, so my question is--if I can get a custom shop to fabricate a set of short drag pipes, do I have to get my Triumph dealer to rejet the carbs? I live in a remote part of Western North Carolina and have to drive a ways to the dealer....no drive would be better.

Drag pipes generally need some setting up- you may find you need smaller jets rather than bigger.
Any shop with a dyno would be good.

Check out Stay-inTunes. Made in Australia, they have a removable baffle for LOUD!, keep it in for reasonable (my preference). Stainless Steel, two styles, (rounded like stock, and megaphone) pricey but good quality. Stock jets can be used but you will need to adjust the mixture (richen)
