i was searching through some bike parts in my basement today, and came across 2 sets of full pipe systems, apparently one for each side. I don't know if this is possible though. I'd like to run them liek this on a 64 T120R. Also, is it required in PA to have turn signals, even if the bike wasn't stock with them? I also noticed the engine in the bike had the marking of TR6R on it, and I believe that's for a Trophy 650. Is this possible? It fits fine and all, just unusual seeming to me. The seat doesn't seem to mount up front either, and it's aftermarket. No idea on how it stays. Thanks, Kyle

Not sure I can be a whole lot of help, but here goes.

To the best of my knowledge, PA does not require turn signals on bikes. I think that if the bike came with turn signals, they must work, but if the bike never had turn signals, PA does not require that they be installed.

I don't believe that an engine marked "TR6R" could be original for a T120R. I've got a '71 Tiger, which is the TR6R for that year. Earlier TR6Rs were, as you suggest, Trophys. There's no reason why a TR6R engine wouldn't fit in your TR120R, though. For most, if not all years, the only difference between the two engines was that the TR6R engine was a single carb, while the TR120R engine carried two carbs. I think that there may have been some camshaft and piston differences for some years, but that wouldn't affect the fit.

Can't be much help on the seat. My doesn't fit well, either.

I talked to my dad, he owns them, and he said he did in fact change the top ends on the t120 to the tr6r just for tuning ease. only around a 5 mph. decrease I believe. Now I just have to find some old school custom parts for the tiger. Thanks, Kyle
