No carbs on a TT600. It is very sensitive to all kinds of things that you wouldn't expect. It kinda makes you wonder if fuel injection is progress. Not that I miss synching SU carbs with a hose in my ear! I hope to have time to track the hose this weekend.

For what its worth, I think the jerky throttle response was actually the bike getting its CO setting a little out. That is solved and it is back to normal. Well, better, since I got the 2002 tune codes put in to my 2001 over the official factory objection. That is a different issue, though.

I'm sure your fuel injection has a throttle body where the air and fuel are mixed just as in a carb., and there are still a bunch of nooks, crannies and other hiding places where a small bit of crap can foul things up slightly.

Blonde's car is running rough, so she takes it to the shop. Mechanic come out and says "its fixed, just crap in the carb". The blonde replies "How often?"

The throttle bodies were a little out of synch, as you already figured. Tracing the hose couldn't hurt, so I plan to do that anyway. Also, I had the dealer 2002 tune codes in my 2001 as part of the 20K service. That is another story for another thread, but after the normal three heat cycles, it "learned" the codes and runs better than ever.

Besides, it might be hard to find a blonde flexible enough to help a motorcycle like that.
