Yep, the airbox drain should be plugged. By the way, everyone should check this drain line out frequently to see if you are getting fluids of any type in it. I guarantee you'll never get any antifreeze in your Bonnie's airbox drain.

Ahhh. That is the plug I lost. Now for the task of figuring out which hose is the airbox drain! That might explain the jerkey throttle response.

Common Sense dictates hose should be plugged; could find no reference in shop manual. My earlier Hondas with airbox drainlines had much smaller (Diameter) hoses with no plugs but were tapped in front of the filter as I remember. And I was by the dealer yesterday. New Daytona 600 looks great!

I doubt the jerky throttle response is due to the airbox drain plug being out, unless you have sucked some foreign matter into the carbs through it.
