It could be another coil. My last triple was a '95 Speed Triple, and I didn't have any coil problems, but it was almost a major job when I fouled the number 2 spark plug!!! Some things shouldn't be so hard to get to. I would isolate your coils and check their resistance on the primary and secondary sides and record your readings. All coils should read about the same. Just be sure they are totally isolated before reading them for an accurate reading. Best of luck.
