BTW,I googled" whitworth tools and fasteners"to get this. There were PAGES of this stuff.

...add a tap & die set to the tools. Repairing bolts, studs and nuts with become second nature and part of the fun! (?)

The threads on W and SAE are very close, I replaced all the phillips head screws on my '71 Tr6 with stainless cap head (mostly 1/4 20) they look and work great- i bought these at a military surplus store for about .10-.20 cent each
