???????? do all of the triple motors that are water cooled produce so much heat off of the motor. my 2001 legend seems to run very hot and it is uncomftorable to ride in 85 degree weather because of the heat the motor is producing!

I've noticed the heat on my adventurer - not to the point though that it's uncomfortable to ride. My fan kicks on especially when driving thru town at low speeds or a stops for extended time.

Hi. I ride my 2000 Legend in Metro D.C. Heat and humidity wise, it'll probably give North Carolina a run for the money.

I've ridden in all sorts of conditions and temperatures. Sometimes, when it's around ninety degrees and I'm riding in stop and go traffic, my thighs do start to get a bit warm, but never to the point where I can't keep riding. Circulating coolant and fan always come to the rescue.

I assume that you're not riding in shorts (if you are, normal heat may seem worse than it really is). If coolant is not circulating/fan isn't coming on regularly, might want to have dealer check out thermostat and engine coolant temperature sensor....Jerry

Jerry, my dealer says of the heat on my ST that there isn't a thermostat on the newer Triumphs - that the green goo is always flowing through. As for the ST and heat, there is ALOT comming out the bottom of the fairing...

I usually turn my right wrist and up shift if its bugging me :-D

Otherwise I expect the ST will be keeping me toasty for an extended riding season!
