I've recently developed a flat-spot in the open throttle response of my Speedy in 5th and 6th gear in the region of 5,000 to 5,500 RPM.....
... I'm getting a short flat-spot/hesitation/stutter when I crack the throttle wide open and hold it.... This is a little disconcerting when passing....
I've just hit 4,000 + miles and scheduled the routine service check for this Tuesday.
... Is this a spark-plug gapping thing, a carb loading thing, a valve timing/adjustment issue OR have I put a flat spot on the Cam????
... Any thoughts, comments about the flat-spot and service interval?... What to look-out for??
