Hi,

Where does the fuel petcock vacuum line attach on the other end? I cant seem to find a vacuum line diagram in my service manual. Thanks for your insight!

On my 95 Trident with Mikuni carbs, the hose runs from the back of the petcock small outlet to the number 3 carb (right most carb while sitting on the bike). On the upper front section of the carb toward the outside is a vacuum take off point. I have a haynes manual and will look it up when I get home and scan it in for you to see what the heck I'm I'm talking about.

As far as the fuel tank end of it, you have to remove the side panel and look up under the petcock to see the backside of it. It is the smaller of the two pipes back there. Yes it does look like there is no room for a hose between there and the frame, so be careful.

Scott,

The main menu of this site has an "All news Articles" section, click on it and go to the article titled "Gas Starvation Problem". That may help with your vacuum line question.

Good luck,j98sprint
