I did my first service myself, my exhaust is stock and I was wondering if I need to take my bike in to the dealer to get the stock map installed?

Sound like some serious dealer BS.

There is no map change after "break in"

Cool, glad to hear it. I try to avoid the dealer whenever possible.

you might want to check and see if in fact you have the most updated
map available , mine was remapped free of charge at the first service , and i experienced a sizgnificant increase in power , as well as all the black sooty ***** is gone from the tail pipes ,milage is up as well ,it does run hotter as well , so i can only believe it was running real rich.

True,
Triumph updates the maps on occasion, so whenever you need to bring it to the dealer, it's a good idea to check for new maps.
