I just spent way too much time installing side panniers and the top rack on my '02 Sprint ST. The instructions say to disconnect the brake light from the power supply, which I did-- I reconnected it when I was done. The rear brake switch turns the brake light on, but not the front brake. I do hear a switching sound with teh front brake tho. Any ideas?

Also, is there a way to make the rear brake switch more sensitive? Brake light doesn't go on until it is depressed almost all the way. Thanks all!

I would check under the handlebars where the master cylinder is. There should be a black covered wire that plugs into a connector at this point. It sounds like the connector has gotten loose and come off. As far as the rear brake light. I am not familiar with the Sprint. Usually for adjustment on the rear brake looks kind of like a silver spring with a plunger type switch. The plunger is usually in a black plastic housing with a big plastic locknut. Loosen the locknut and adjust the housing so that it is farther away from the plunger side of it. This will increase the tension on the switch contacts and make your light come on quicker. Be careful not to make it too sensitive. You don't want to have the brake light on at all times. Best of luck.
