Hi,
I have been on a search for the best visor polish/defogger and I think I have it. I used Meguiar's Plastx - clear plastic cleaner and polish. I bought it for my fairing screen but used it on my helmet visor and found it brilliant. I use a BMW syystem 4 helmet with a polycarbonate visor. It removes bugs, clears the plastic, prevents fogging quite well and lasts ages. It is a light blue cream like polish and totally non abrasive.

I have used Mr Sheen that is a wax based futrniture I think is only in Australia and it's OK. I used RainX and it melted the polycarb plastic. This stuff is the best I have seen.

I have used plain old Lemon Pledge furniture polish for many years. It doesn't take out scratches, but it dissolves bugs and does a pretty good job of cleaning. It is really easy to find, too.

Like you Will, I use Pledge lemon polish, I use it to polish up my skid lid and visor and also on all the paintwork on the bike, oranges and lemons :-D

I use Plexus. It's an aircraft mil. spec. plastic cleaner and polish. Takes bugs right off.

Since the visors for Aria's are about $50.00 I'm pretty finicky about what I put on it.

I called Rainx and their products are death to plastics. For glass only.

I think Pledge and Mr Sheen as basically the same. I have used Plexus and found it cleans well but is useless as a defogger. The Meguiar's Plastx is the best. Can't guarantee it won't damage plastic in the long term but the stuff is designed for many types of plastics and seems similar in safety to Plexus.

Rainex is definitely death to visors and a costly option ($90 to replace the visor every time you use it).

I have noticed that Honda runs a fairly good line of cleaning products ect. I usually use Meguiar's and mothers. I have to drive a long ways to go to any kind of dealer (Including Honda) and I can find the others at Wally World.

I haven't seen the Maguiars stuff yet. Currently I use blue Magic plastic cleaner. Works great on my visor. Makes your windshield look brand new too.
