I have a two brothers slip on can installed on my sprint rs and I use the Tuneboy download to change my fuel mapping. The gain in mid range acceleration is fantastic. But on deceleration I notice a lot of popping noises. I used to think that this was due to running rich, due to unburnt gas. But a mechanic friend of mine says that maybe it is running to lean and that I should change to another fuel mapping that would cause the bike to use more gas and run richer. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Popping on decel is indicative of a lean closed-throttle (idle) condition. You can try to reduce it by richening the idle part of the map, but you won't eliminate it (it's in the nature of free flowing pipes).

DITTO - running too lean. Need to get more gas flow.

Since you have the TuneBoy I'd assume you have the TuneEdit, cable and lock. Get some dyno time and sort it yourself instead of trying canned tunes. This is what it's really for.
