I have a 2005 Bonneville America with 2500 miles on it. My dealer says the rotor is not covered under warrenty. At slow speed the front brake is almost unuseable. I check it an it has one low spot, 2thousandths less than the remainder of the rotor. Any suggestions?

Thanks, We can't be the only ones to have this problem, I just don't know if 2thousanths of an inch is too close a tolarance for a brake machine shop to fix.

At 2500 miles, a warped rotor is definitely a warranty issue! Your dealer is BS'ing you. My 01 ST warped a rotor at about 7000 miles, and 14 months into the warranty, and it was replaced. Now brake shoes, that's a consummable, but not rotors. Call Triumph, or contact another dealer! tommyturbo2

Ditto on the warped rotors on a '03 ST with 6k on it. Replaced under warranty.

Got both front rotors replaced on my '02 Trophy under warranty when they warped at under 5,000 miles. Triumph wasn't happy, but they did it. It took almost a year (winter and all), and a bit of grief. Don't take the bull, it's a safety issue.
