I have a set of the Nology Ignition Coils waiting for when I get back home. I have a question for you guys/gals who have already installed them. Are they worth the time and money? Would you recommend them to your best friend?
I really just want to know if I wasted my money or not.

Any info would be appreciated.

Mike

As soon as you have one of your stock coils fail, swap 'em all out.

I have a set on the shelf for my '00 Legend "just in case". I've read too many stories about coil failures on T3s.

I just replaced my coil with the nology Profire (I believe that's the name) last weekend and they definitely seem to make a difference when starting the bike. My "02" been getting a little crancky as of late taking her time to start up, and after reading about the coil failures like grandpaul mentioned I decided to switch them out before the failure actually occured.
Once I replaced them, I hit the starter and the bike fires right up and idles smoothly while the engine is still cold. I think the $78 was worth it.

i have had the coils and wires installed on my S3 for quite awhile....thumbs up for the coils...thumbs down on the wires. i replaced the nology wires with a set of custom made Taylors that seem to work great. The coils definelty deliver a more intence spark, and seem to be a bit on the hot side.
