Hi again Bob955

I drove the daytona to the mechanics for change oil, wheels etc.

this in not an oficial dealer of Triumph

they take off the tank to change the air filter, and when they set on the engine, the mil light goes on again, I suposse that it's the same error: fuel sensor circuit low input, because they have to remove the petrol sleeve.

I try to clear it with your method but anything goes fine.

I start on the engine, run it until the fun goes on, and in this moment I stop the engine, and the fun is still runing; some seconds later the fun stop.

when the fun is stopped, I wait for the engine goes cool, (1-2 minutes) and start the engine again( the temperature is abaut 101ºC, the fan goes on at 103ºC)

I do it two more times(three times in total)

It's something wrong in my method.

thanks

Hi Fruizb

The main thing here is that if the MIL still stays lit up after doing the three heat cycles, there is definitely a fault that needs to be fixed.

Regarding your bike's service, did the mechanic take the airbox off to check the sparkplugs? If he did, it sounds like he might have disconnected a sensor and not reconnected it, or mixed up the sensor connections.

The airbox temperature sensor and the coolant temperature sensor are the two that come to mind here as they are fairly close to each other.

If they're not connected, or the connections are mixed up, the MIL will light up, and won't go out no matter how many heat cycles you put the engine through, until you fix the fault.

Hope this helps

it's unbelievable, like I tell you, i try the method of the clear MIL without results.

anyway, I go out with the motorbike, and put petrol because the light of the petrol turns on.

When I start the engine again, the Mil's light switchs off.

I don't understand anything.

The lights switchs off because I apply the method of the cleared MIL or it switchs off because I put petrol????

My Triumph has a certain magic
