My rear brake caliper is dragging more than the slight drag it should have. The pads are good (although at the end of their usable lives) and the fluid has been changed according to schedule.

I've ordered the rebuild kit of pistons and seals and will rebuild it. If anyone has done this is there anything I should watch for?

It's been dragging for a while, enough to knock 4 to 5 mpg's off but not quite enough to turn the rotor cherry red.

Other Motorcycle: Can't afford two!
Extra Motorcycle: Three would be insane
My 2 cents: I would definately check the rear rotor carefully for glazing and runout if haven't already.

Rear calipers are always a pain. Corrosion makes the pistons stick slightly and not return properly.
Only remedy is to strip and clean up corrosion. Usually needs doing after winter in UK after salt has done its worst....
