has anyone ever taken apart their speedo and/or tacho?
the reason I ask is that I have converted the daytona to a speed triple, put my clocks in the triple housing, gone to put the clock covers on and.... surprise- the bolts coming from the back are shorter!!! too short to put the clock covers on!!!!
looking for some 'sex' bolts (female part has internal thread to make up distance) but to no avail.
thought it may be worth considering dissassembling clocks and putting in longer bolts.

of course, could be stepping into dangerous (read- expensive if goes wrong).

any thoughts!!!???
