Hi, all.

I just had the pleasure of dealing with Jack Lilley, one of the Triumph dealers that is noted on the links page, and about whom I've heard many good things. As the subject says, I was impressed.

It all started with my hankering for a chrome radiator guard for my 2000 Legend. I already had the chrome radiator end caps. The problem was this: The radiator guard in Triumph's accessory catalogue (the same one as at my Maryland dealer) was not what I was looking for. In other words, it was just a perimeter bracket, but lacked a chrome grill. Consequently, even with the end caps and radiator guard, you still had the stock blacked out grill to contend with. Enter Jack Lilley.

On Jack Lilley's web site, the very same part number was shown with a picture of a different radiator guard. This time, the guard included the chrome grill. I e-mailed Jack Lilley to confirm. Jack Lilley immediately followed-up with Triumph and ordered one before I had agreed to purchase. After checking to make sure that the picture on their web site was accurate, they advised me of the good news. Needless to say, I ordered.

Specially noteworthy was "Steve's" courtesy. He advised that he hadn't had a day off in some time and was going to take a short respite. Nevertheless, he hung around just a little bit longer to resolve my concern.

If all goes well, I should have my radiator guard in about a week. Hopefully, there won't be any surprises!

....Jerry
