FYI don't follow triumph recommendations to torque the small bolts that hold the sound damper material inside the clutch cover to 12 Nm. They will strip, at least mine did. I figured it out two bolts too late. Luckily, with slightly longer bolts I can grasp the last few, good, threads in the hole.

Question. Why reinstall the clutch cover sound dampening material? If it is just a bit more mechanical noise... Anybody know if it serves another purpose? It also weighs a pound or so...so without it, I'll get MUCH faster!! :-D
