I know there was a huge thread on parts interchangeability!! But there wasn't much on accessories.
I want to put saddlebags on my 05 America but don't have the budget to afford Triumph name brand.
Anyway I like the looks of Tourmaster in fact I have the small bag with the bungee cords that attach to the luggage rack/ seat.
Are there aftermarket brackets made to fit Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, or even Harley that will fit the America or Speedmaster? Or any aftermarket company that specialize in universal type brackets?
:???:

When I get saddlebags for my America I'm going to get Easy-Brackets. They can be found at newspeedmaster.com. Check 'em out.

BassNote! Thanks for the Info, but the wife (The other half of my bank account) Doesn't like the Idea of $150. just for the brackets. The bags I've been looking at depending on the size are between $119 - $300.
She wants me to get a differant seat for her, which is also $150. Maybe I will work on her somemore convincing her she can carry more junk with the bags. Thanks again! :-g

Yeah, I hear ya about the costliness of it all. I paid 170$ for Triumph rails for my T100 and then another 150$ for some Willie and Max bags. I looked around quite a bit and don't remember a much cheaper option, other than looking at some of the equestrian bags on saddle/tack sites. Someone around here made his own Easy Brackets, but that's probably more trouble than you would like. Good luck in your search. BN

Not bag rails, I went OEM for those, but luggage rack and sissy bar- I retro modified an vintage Jap accessory from KG engineering. see my album for the pics and details.

I did see someone making generic rails on e-bay a while back that looked like they may work, search for bags, brackets, and I think he was advertising them for the V-Max specifically.

Shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions.
