I would contact Sprint Manufacturing in the UK and see if they have a used one, their prices are very good and shipping is very reasonable. sprint

On the subject of Oil Filter interchangeability (forgive me if this is old news) but this link takes you to the HiFlo list of other bikes that share the same filter as the T3 885 Triples, as you can see you should never be stuck for a filter;

Crazy init :-D

The spline diameter/count should be a standard size, as the countershaft splines are. Now to find out what size it is, etc, you cna probably find a machinists reference to figure this out. I have found references for the counter shaft sporckets inmanufatcturers guides before (tech notes -- much like you can get information on the techinical info of oil filters).

I would plan on spending some time at a motorcycle junk yard. Youmight even find something that you like better for your foot size/peg relationship.

a while back I rode home after a low side with a brake lever from a Suzuki SV650(which is a gixxer lever) on my speed triple. I'm not sure if suzuki uses nissin brakes as well but it fit perfectly. as for the oil filter I usually go with a K&N as I would prefer not to have some cheap 100 gauge fram filter on my bike where triumph for some reason mounted the oil filter in the most precarious place possible.

Hi all
About the oil filter I use Champion X303 without o-ring - price : 3 Euro. o-ring is easy to find in shops for o-rings and oil seals, when you know the o-ring dimensions.

Yes, most 90's Kawasaki's will fit. Zx11 is the model that springs to mind.

Thanks, Mick. I thought that might be the case, seeing as the levers are the same.

BTW, I just put a Yamaha peg on my bike. It looks really close to the original now that it's on, but I had to drill out the hole to 3/8" (10mm).

Cheers,
-Kit

The BMW 16 14 2 325 859 is the same as the Triumph filter for less than half the price. Fuel injection models. The stock fuel filter is an KNECHT MAHLE KL145

Triumph original filter

Early 2-pot caliper repair kits - use Honda CBR600 (though not sure which model) as apparently Honda include spare pins which Triumph don't despite them really being needed on mine.

Is anybody sure which CBR600 kits fit the twin-pots? I've seen references to this a couple places on the 'net, but never anything definite enough to place an order with.

Thanks,
-Kit
