OK, I just confirmed this today with the measurements from my original sprocket, my calipers and actually installing them on my rear hub assembly at Cycle Gear.

Bike 2002 RS with a DSSA. Stock rear sprocket is 530-43

GSXR 1000 '01-'02 (with 5 bolt hubs) are a direct replacement. The ONLY mod might be to take the sharp edge off the rear of the center hole as Triumph does. 530 with a 42 is stock 43 and 44 are common replacements. Vortech part # 527

GSXR 600 '01-'02 (with 5 bolt hubs) are a direct swap for anyone wanting to go to a 525 chain size. They are the same sprocket as the GSXR 1000 units above in a 525 chain size. Vortech part # 526.

There is also a GSXR 600/750 sprocket setup for a 520 chain size which is Vortech part # 528, but I did not get a chance to try that one on my hub as they did not have any in stock.

The two I listed are a DIRECT SWAP right out of the box for the DSSA on an RS or Daytona 955i.

Don't know if this was covered B4 but the brake leaver from VFR750 and CBR600 will fit Daytona 650 (and I asume 600 as well) with a little bit of filing.

What needs filing?? the large flat bit that presses the brake light swich... it also acts as a stop for the leaver...

I switched to Havoline antifreeze/ coolant three years ago.

Non abrasive to water pumps. My research indicates it's similiar to (if not same as) more expensive Honda coolant.

Also, NAPA sells a "stop rust/ water pump lube" that goes in radiator. It's same as "water soluble cutting oil", of which you could safely add eighth cup to bike radiator (or half cup to cars) to stop rust & provide extra lube to water pump.

Plan on using cutting oil at next antifreeze change myself.

Lets see if I got this straight

If the fork seals and mounting points for 6-pot
front calipers on my Daytona 900
are the same as 1997 zx7 / zx9 Kawis
Does that mean the FORK TUBES are also interchangeable?

I currently have a 89 ZX7 front fork on my RS.
It's getting replaced with a 1995 ZX9 front end from a Kawi.
The steering stems are the same size so it's a straight swap.
The ZX7 forks is basically the same but the ZX9 is 4 or 5 cm longer and thats nice for comfort imo
For anyone wondering about the ZX forks, they are USD forks and have adjustments for Rebound,Compression and preload.

Anyone got the skinny on what exhausts (headpipes) are interchangeable among the triumph triples?

Also, what is the size of the forks on a 98 TBS? Want to buy some clip ons.

Headers from nearly any 885cc engine will bolt onto the head of any other 885cc engine. Some models use a different water pipe to clear certain headers. Nearly every model has a unique mounting arrangement to attach the mufflers to the bike. If you have a centerstand on your bike headers from other models are likely to interfere with that. If you have fabrication skills brackets can be made out of aluminium to adapt many different things.

For example I have D&D 3 into 3 exhausts that were made for the 2000-2004 TBS installed on my 98 TBS. It required making a new bracket to attach the mufflers to the footpeg mounting bolt.

the fork tubes are 43mm diameter.

I hope that helps a little.

They're the same diameter but they might be a different length. I have a set of forks from a ZRX1200 on my 95 Sprint 900. They were shorter than the stockers but I was able to drop the rear end by the same amount by rotating the axle adjustors.

The keyless aluminum gas caps available for the Jap sport bikes interest me. I was wondering if anyone knew if the first generation Hinckley gas cap was the same as some other Jap bike. I'm kinda thinkin' some Kawi has the same part (so many parts seem to be like Kawi parts) so that I could find the right cap to put on my tank.Anyone know?
