Other Motorcycle: Can't afford two!
Extra Motorcycle: Three would be insane
Anybody got a rough idea of how much it would cost to get a TBird tank, front fender and rear seat cowl painted in black (and probably clear coated too)?

If you don't get local help, you may want to check Jim's here in California. He has a pretty good rep and the Triumph tank samples on his site look nice.

Good luck!

You probably already have had the painting done by now. Assuming there is no filling or dent removal to be done and the fenders need only to be sand blasted before painting, you should be able to get them powder coated with a good outdoor paint from someone like TCI for about $150.00 total. Any other type of paint in a single color should be about half as much. Check out the textured metallic paints for something different. Dark pewter, light pewter, bronze, light copper and dark copper are beautiful; there's also a polished aluminum color now available in powder coat.
