Thanks everyone,

Interesting (suspicious) side note; EVERY auto-parts in the area had the NGK DPR8ea-9 for about a dollar each, but didn't have, and couldn't get, the next coolest plug, the NGK DPR9ea-9. ALL the bike shops had the NGK DPR9ea-9 plug for $3.

J98,

The bike shops here are the same way, they charge a premium because of the type of business they are. The auto stores have so much competition that they price accordingly.

The weather up here has been quite cool as a matter of fact, but I went out on a RAT ride couple of Sundays ago anyhow.

Side note...bike Shops charge $2.50-$3.00 for them because they usually buy them ten at a time and get charged more for them. Middle-man...etc.... Auto parts stores are typically some type of chain-store either nationally or regionally owned and will buy plugs 10,000 at a time. All things being equal...get you stuff where you like...but don't let your local dealer go out of business. Unless they are unfriendly to you....then you can come to us...lol

Cheers
