Thanks for the response.
1. Drilling one hole, attaching one adhesive backed velcro pad and soldering four connections is not 5 hours worth of work - 30 minutes to remove and reinstall the fairing.
2. You can believe me when I say I tried every possible programming variation; could never program out the 'delay' in registering the lower gear positions suggesting insufficient input signal amplification.
3. My experiences are fully outlined on the RiderStations website; presonal replies from DataTool and RiderStations stated my situation was 'normal'?
4. My unit failed completely leading me to believe my unit was faulty but RiderStations choose to refund rather than send a new unit leading me to believe I'm not the only one with a similar problem.
5. Received one e-mail from a Bandit 1200 owner with the exact same problem; we both came to the conclusion the unit was 'junk'. The RevLight worked properly until I ran the 'demo mode' per instructions then unit would never program properly afterwards - no real assistance from factory or distributor on this one either.
6. Would like to see similar (reliable) items factory installed on future Triumphs - are we being used as 'lab rats'?
7. Glad your device is working properly....
8. DataTool Evo Veto Alarm working flawlessly except for one 'quirk' noted recently when outside temperatures drop well below freezing: unit automatically sets 'motion detector' instead of manual activation; works properly at 32F or above.
