hi everyone, just been out for a ride on my 03 955i when the manegment light came on.pulled up and checked over,no obviouse faults. bike ran fine did not go into limp mode.Has anyone had this problem,or no of anything to check.Anything would be good as i cant get to a dealer till tuesday, and im off to Assen on Saturday to see worldsupperbikes,fingers crossed. Thanks. :???:

Do a forum search for "engine managment" and if there are any known issues such as the light being defective and going on without reason, (which i thought i'd seen before) you should find lots of posts about it.

Have you disconnected the battery or run out of fuel?
Any little thing like this turns the light on. 3 heat cycles make it reset. Start the bike from cold, let it warm up, let it cool down, that's one heat cycle. It drove me nuts.
Check the oil level, check the coolant level. Turn the key on and make sure the oil pressure light is on. After the engine starts the oil pressure light should go out. I check that light every time I start the engine.
