I just had the Legend Re-Jetted and performance silencers installed. The bike runs good but pops quite a bit on deceleration. The dealer says this is normal and the bike is tuned for throttle response. Any opinions?

That is almost certainly a lean mixture- whoever did the jetting messed up (IMHO)

As long as your dealer is willing to back up his claim (in case damage occurs), then I wouldn't worry about it.

My Adventurer pops on decel, not much. One mechanic found a tiny pinhole in the header pipe, plugged it and it helped for a while; but it isn't really that much of an issue.

I have Triumph "loud" pipes installed and my bike has been on a dyno three times.

Now if it was a fuel-injected bike, I would be worried.

The popping can be fixed but it will cause your fuel economy to suffer.
