first, how do you get that sticky residue off your fuel tank after you peel off the new sticker that tells you to wear your helmet and read the manual. Second, my uncle threw a cover over my bike while it was still hot and of course it melted on the exhaust pipes; how should I get it off without screwing up the chrome? Any suggestions would be appreciated :???:

W/D40 on a rag will have that off quick. With the plastic, get it up to running temp, and wipe the plastic off, then use chrome polish to get off the rest.

Just don't use paper towels; will scratch the clear coat (can be rubbed out though).

Don't use chrome polish as it is abrasive!!!! Just get some warm water with some gentle washing up liquid in. A sponge will do it and then use a wax polish.
