76 t140v

Heres my 76 T140v, I bought it in grocery bags and milk crates some time ago and have it almost complete, just a few twiddly bits and I shall have bugs in my teeth. It was totally as Mr Triumph had made it despite being dismantled I think the tyres still had the old Birmingham air in them, it has 7500kms on it has matching #s etc, I have made some mods rear wheel, exhausts, electrical, I have retained all the original parts for posterity however.
After loosley assembling it started second kick, once the weather gets warmer, (I live in Canada) I shall complete her, thought it was time to share though. I attached a before and almost pic its a little neater and more shiny now, when I dig the shop out I shall take a few more.

Wow! What a nice project. How long ago did you start? Great job!

Its been ongoing for a few years, I have re located a few times so it has taken longer than it should, I would think I have about 150 hours in it to date, the motor has never been apart although it must have thrown the primary chain at some time as theres a little alloy damage in the primary side, everything in there was brand new so a warranty repair may have happened, at that point I think it must have been parked for 30 yrs. I dont intend to dismantle the engine at this point as it doesnt, leak or smoke (any more than you would expect) I have it entered for the Slack Alice Show and Shine in Penticton BC, in April so it needs done by then..later in the year Ill ride her to Sturgis North........thanks for the compliments and interest in my Bike lads.
