here's what I've got

72 tr6r not sure if it's a bonnie or tiger, thinking tiger with one carb. Right side rod bearing spun and motor was locked with 4,000 miles on the clock, then it sat in a barn untouched since about 1980. Doesn't seem to need much after repairs are done. Thanks for a great site with so much help and info. Let me know of any thoughts or ideas. George

That bike looks great just as it sits. I would bet that paint will rub out good as new for ya. Now get busy on that engine.

Standard length fork tubes, a set of sidecovers, and some original style muffs, and you'd have an almost original bike.

It'll be a good one when the whirly bits are put in order.

thanks for the replies guys it's a good base to work with. No ideas on tiger or bonnie, the one thing not listed on the title. I'd kinda like to find out before I title it.

The Bonneville engine number would start with T120 and would have the two carb head. The TR6 engine number has the single carb.

Hi servi53,
It's a TR6 Tiger, it has a single carb, also it looks like the correct and possibly original paint for the year (72).
With the exception of the head and the air filter housings/sidecovers it shares pretty much everything else with the T120 Bonnie.

Nice bike

BTW, here's a photo from the members bikes section, here is a very nice shiny example for reference

Having a hard time getting a connecting rod for my project. Anybody got one laying around they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price? Ebay prices are scaring the hell out of me, especially not knowing if you're getting a good part. Thanks for your time, any help would be greatly appreciated. George

I've got a spare serviceable Triumph 650 connecting rod, let me dig it out and take pix.
