Baby steps but at least they are steps...

Been off line from bike work a while due to small medical issue ..finally got back to the shop and could not wait any more..waiting on some gaskets and odds and ends but figured I could get the engine in frame and add on the other stuff later. After reading how to reassemble on this site I jumped in..I was concerned about my $800 frame powder coat, but took my time... the temporary engine stands are 4 security camera mounts a friend gave me... took about 45 careful minutes .. but it went perfect. Nice to see engine and frame in 1 piece again..now i gotta go back to work but feel like I accomplished something ! New valves and seats, pistons and rings, blasted and repainted with hi temp, left the aluminum raw after blasting.. I like the look. What do you think ?

Looking good David
I like the red, makes a change from black.
I look forward to seeing the finished bike in a few months.
Keep up the good work

I agree. That red looks great. Are you going to to do the wheels in red also?
