NICE WORK!

66 paint, 67 bike, 68 front end...

Man, that is some shiny polish work on those engine covers. Did you build the engine youself?

I typically buy new harnesses, cut them open, then delete all the extra wires and incorporate color-coded replacements as required, strung where required, to include the new electronic components.

Don't forget the ammeter circuit if you are using a solid state regulator/rectifier! I like the Sparx "finned egg" type, way too cool.

Not insulting in the least, but are those covers chrome? If they're not, VERY nice work!

No sir , their not chrome they have been lovingly restored by myself and lots of wet sanding( down to 3000 grit) and hours standing at the buffer----------john :

What compound(s) did you use for final buffing?

I use Eastwood stuff, started with black ended with white
if you read the tech page they say not to use ant thing but red & white on aluminum, but black give a deeper color that I like better. experiment andsee what you get--------John
