rotor

the marks on the 1972 t120r rotor, are they 38 degree marks

Hi D'ray,
Yes, the marks are 38°. You can double check using the hole behind the cylinders. When the tool is engaged in the slot in the flywheel one of the marks on the rotor should be lined up with the pin in the primary case.

I would go for the double check,
as when my rotor mark and pointer are lined up the engine is at TDC.
so to time mine I had to remark the rotor @38deg using the timing plug hole to get position.

I'll try to get tbc.and see if marks line up. I'll try using the timing hole.thank guys
