rebuilt Bonnie 65 street racer

this is my Bonnie 65, is a mixed of '65 and '69 parts, frame, engine, and wheell are '65, and tank, headlight, oil tank, panel and rev counter and km are '69
it need a total engine rebuilt, I want recover the '65 lost parts , and make a bike style TR5R or Thruxton '65, I don't know yet. I want improve the brakes with a OEM '69 front brake or 210mm fontana 4Ls (but perhaps this is too much racing for the bike that I want) and the rear brake with a 72 conical hub similar to Manx M30 rear hub.

I don't see anything wrong with it, just the way it is!

the bike is stoping since 1977, Now I only have repaired a few things to can start it and good whashing. All for overcome the Spanist TUV and get the leal docs
But in first apparence.... the crankshaft sound a "clonck", I think that is wear in shell connecting rods or broken crank bearing, I'm not sure I don't know well this engines. The shift selector is broken and no return. Much of the oil seal and o´rings are hardened, and it have oil leaks. After of the tappets adjustment the head continues clattering...and some white-blue smoke in left exhaust. About other parts some are bent for crash. The electricity is a mess, there´s a new sistem over the 65 original with switchers disabled and switchers of other bike enabled......

I think that this cafe have fighted in most battles, and lost the last. I'll return it splendor in the sixtiees

That definitely sounds like a prime candidate for a total engine overhaul, right down to the internal crankshaft sludge trap.

Modern wiring harnesses are a good value unless you are an electrician with ready resources to build one yourself.
