1966 speedtwin

I just moved my new bike into the basement to begin an overhaul. Hopefully this forum can help me long the way. I'm worried about getting in over my head, but.... here goes!

Take lots of notes, and lots of photos!

I think this forum is going to be quite busy this winter...

1966 speedtwin

I've assumed my bike is a 1966 speedtwin, however some people have suggested otherwise. The numbers on the bike are:

5ta h 35475 frame
xd 35475 t100s engine

How do you sort out what model / year / etc... this bike is??

Any help woud be appreciated.

Don
