Just wanted to put my new project on here. Just picked it up this week, a rolling chassis with a late 60's (not sure exactly what year) Bonneville frame. I've been into doing project bikes for a few years now, but this is my first Triumph so I will have lots of questions along the way. Here's a couple of pics right after I got it home. I will try and keep this updated as progress continues.

Just a quick update. Not too much has changed, but I have gotten the bike down to the frame and until I get my hands on an engine there will lots of grinding on the frame to smooth it out for a nice paint job. Time is also being spent to accumulate a few other necessary parts for the build (tank, seat, handlebar, etc.) Once some progress is made I will update once again.

Looks like the old Invader wheels from the 70s, although I don't recall 6-spokers like your FT, only the 5s like your RR. Also looks like the old Hallcraft FT drum brake. I think Tom McMullens magazine "Street Chopper" used to push those products 'cause an awful lot of their feature bikes had 'em. They were kind of the hot set up in the early 70s. Looks like you've got a good start on a classic 70s chopper. Good luck on the project....Eddie.
