O Ring Reference
Here are some tips from two of our members on O ring sizes.
Thanks guys!
From denoose,
A Caterpillar O-ring, Part number 8M4991, is the option for the "Poor Man's Cruise Control"
From Shovelstrokeed,
If need be, you can go to a local hydraulic supply company and get the stuff you need.
Fuel fittings are dash size 010. Viton is what you should have but buna (nitrile) will work OK.
Dipstick sealing ringis a dash size 116, again almost any compound will work.
For a cheapo cruise control, a dash 321 O-ring between the bar end weight and the throttle grip. You need to slide the bar end weight out a little bit, or the throttle inboard, to make it work.
