Mr Brick.
Thanks for the lol on the " a period" is monthly thing with women.
- reminds me of my pal Lu. I had trouble installing my new programmable ignitor . an error message read no connection to PC. Software for the dongle driver was recommended, with help from a High I Q person. I contacted a pal Lew. I asked him for help regarding a dongle driver. He said he had a dongle driver, It was his only one, No way I was touching it & cut off communication.

Got my t-bird running
So i was finally able to try the ignitech unit out today. With a new pickup coil. Here comes the good part, the old stock igniter runs the motorcycle with the new pickup coil. But with the ignitech hooked in, the motorcycle will not run. It shows the pickup with a problem... anyone with any advice? on the subject... i need help.
Mike or anyone with similar problems with their units

Maybe check you have the settings correct - download the file I've posted & program the unit with these settings?

i tried your settings mike, and for some reason the program would not load it correctly. But i uninstalled it all, re uploaded it all and tried loading the program differently this time. So now it works. and it sounds so great. Never thought that sound would come from this bike. Did find out though that the tachometer is stuck at around 8000 rpm? whats up with that

Tacho sounds like an incorrect connection maybe? Check the wiring of the loom adapter cable vs the Ignitech instructions.

Oh Bugger. My 1st try at install failed too. Keep trying, my Triumph is up and running with my new Igniter after my 3rd try at the software download.

Last week, I emailed Ignitech about buying an igniter.
Last wednesday, I sent them the paypal payment for the TCIP4 full version, 10 pin adapter cable, and USB/com programming cable.
Would you believe that when I got home from work today, I had a delivery from DHL containing the new programmable igniter?
This is awesome! I can't believe it's here already. I thought it was going to take around a month to get here. I am so happy right now!
