Hi, I did it...

My Adventurer is AMBER/COPPER one of 1997.
I painted an EMGO fairing and an adapted (Virago?) rear
mudguard, (pictures soon...).

All DUPONT code and Triumph codes I verified was right except that bloody AMBER.

J5787 and EC ARE NOT RIGHT COLORS

with this one you obtain Undercoat and 2nd hand:

Don't consider proportion for easyness...
yellow undercoat: AM41,AM1,AM31,XB155
2nd hand: AM76,...lucids?

So watch what is: a golden color.
I asked reasonsto Italian ditributor that asked to Belgium one. FORMULA IS INCOMPLETE (for an informatical reason, DB sized, they said), no one will tell you, but you need 3rd hand:

every 100g of 690S (lucid) you need 5 g. of AM91 (dark red)

I believe your bike is the same colour scheme as mine, amber and gold. See my pictures in Vol 1, pg 8 of member maintained albums.

It's quite rare.

Mine is changing very rapidly as you can see following my album link... (Easter eels ride album show latest example)

Looking forward to seeing your transformation. As for the colour, I too believe it is quite rare as I have not seen another until I saw yours, and of course the one in the Triumph ads for the bike. I have gotten a few compliments on mine as it is unique.

Later
