Looks nice. depending on the use the only thing I might add would be a steel top. Very easy to clean and keeps oils and such from soaking into the wood.

Thanks for this post.
I like your bench a lot and appreciate the link to the plans. The great thing about sharing something like this is the ideas it sparks in others. In an earlier post I linked to a work stand/platform I built. The idea for that come from a post by parrycm and looking long and hard at a shipping pallet. It has improved my ability to work on my bike a great deal. A serious bench like this would really top off my homebuilt shop.

Not to hijack your thread, but...
I wonder if an ongoing discussion focused on home made tools and workshop items would be of interest.
A picture and/or plans etc. along with a short description of use.
