Is there anybody on the board with a lathe who would skim about 2.5mm off of a wheel spacer for me if I mail it to them?

I've been looking for somebody locally nut so far have not come up with anything.

Mick,I would think any place capable of turning a brake drum could chuck it up and carve off 2.5mm. :???: Steve

I guess that's very likely true, maybe I just haven't been looking in the right places.

Mick,

I have a 9" Southbend lathe. I would be glad to do this for you--I'm not sure how big your spacer is--I'm assuming it is small. I'll send you a pm with my snail and email addresses.

Thanks shortys, I have 2 offers already :-D

What am I up to... well... take a look at the 2005 updates in my photo album. The spacer is for the rear wheel. It goes on the Sprocket side between the wheel and the swingarm. Currently the whole wheel and sprocket are about 2.5mm to the right of where they need to be, and this spacer should be able to yield that space. Once this is machined I can do some fine tuning with shims and get everything exactly in line.
