Not quite sure what you mean by 'service limit', but the Truimph service manual says change the fork oil every 12k miles/20k Km.

Sorry what I realy mean't was the springs in the front forkes after time become worn out, and I believe that there is a service limit given for the length these springs should be, in the haynes manual it appears this information is not given.

I've checked the factory manual also and can't find any reference to it, just the oil replacement.

But the factory manual only covers the service procedure up to 18k.

Maybe give someone like Jack Lilley a ring and see what they say.

for a bike that age you will find a big improvement by getting replacement Hagon springs which come with new oil.this will transform the handling at a modest cost.
