If you are even slightly mechanically inclined, it's an easy job. It required removing the nose fairing to access the electrical connectors, then removing and re-installing the grips. finally, a hole has to be cut in the left top fairing for the switch install.
If it's a factory grip kit, it comes with detailed instructions and templates.
